troop 3 "The Best" - lowell, massachusetts
Troop 3 is a member of the Greater Lowell District, Yankee Clipper Council, Boy Scouts of America. We are currently charted by the St. Margaret's Parish, Lowell, Massachusetts.
Our Troop Program
Our troop program consists of an activity typically once a month during the school year. The youth members of the troop develop the overall activities plan and are then empowered to execute that plan. While learning timeless values through a hands on leadership approach, they have fun and are doing the stuff that interests them. It is the function of the adult leadership to guide them through this awesome and challenging task. Our program also allows our members some flexibility to participate in other activities outside of the troop (i.e. high school or recreational sports). There is something for everyone no matter what your schedule looks like!
Where and when do we meet?
We meet every Monday night at the Lowell Catholic High School on Stevens Street, Lowell, Massachusetts. Our meetings start at 7:00pm and last until 8:30pm. If you plan on attending, please contact us to confirm by sending an email to info [at] troop3-tb.org. Come check us out!
Joining Requirements
Boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old can join.
